For the past decade, the Fair Labor Standards Act has provided nursing parents the right to a private space, other than a bathroom, and the break time needed to pump breast milk at work. This past December, the PUMP for Nursing Mothers Act was made law securing these workplace rights for nearly nine million more nursing parents who were previously exempt.
In an effort to help advocates, employers, and HR professionals understand how the new law works and how these new changes affect prior protections, the Wage and Hour Division is offering an educational webinar that we would love for you to attend.
