Connecting Minnesotans to Health Care Employment
January is Health Care Month in Minnesota, a time to draw attention to this critical sector in our state’s economy.
At the Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development (DEED), we are focusing on highlighting the many employment opportunities in health care right now – and the critical need for workers in many positions.
Each week this month, DEED’s Workforce Strategy Consultants will highlight different aspects of their work with employers, education institutions and other partners to help raise awareness about and build pipelines for Minnesotans to move into health care careers.
This week’s Workforce Strategy Consultant blog focuses on leveraging skills from past work experience for employment in health care.
