At Arrowhead Transit, we’re looking for a dedicated and skilled Full-Time Mechanic to join our team in Cambridge, MN. Job Responsibilities:

• Perform regular maintenance and repairs on vehicles and equipment, following an essential service schedule.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and wiring issues.
• Conduct annual vehicle inspections (DOT certified).
• Maintain accurate records for service (mileage, labor, parts).
• Perform emergency maintenance across the service area.
• Keep a clean, organized work environment.
• Provide input on shop operations and fleet needs.

Job Qualifications:

• Proven mechanical experience with bus components (engines, brakes, transmission, body work, welding, wheelchair lifts).
• Valid CDL with passenger endorsement.
• Able to lift 50 lbs regularly, occasionally more.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Certified to perform annual vehicle inspections.
• Must supply own tools.
