North 65 Chamber of Commerce Announces 2025 Employee of the Year Award Recipient
 
The North 65 Chamber of Commerce is proud to announce Bill Stickels III, Editor at the Isanti-Chisago County STAR, as its 2025 Employee of the Year Award recipient.

This award recognizes individuals who demonstrate exceptional job performance, leadership, and a dedicated commitment to their workplace and community.

An excerpt from his award nomination includes, "Bill's dedication goes beyond reporting—he has a unique ability to translate complex issues into clear, understandable stories so readers understand what’s happening in their community.  He mentors staff, guides editorial decisions, and models high journalistic standards."

Bill and six additional award nominees were recognized for their positive impact on their workplace at the 41st Annual Employee Recognition Luncheon, held Wednesday, November 19, 2025, at Delightful Acres Weddings & Events in Isanti, MN.

The event opened with an inspiring presentation by Dr. Bill Berg of Thrive People Solutions, titled “Be Your Best Self – You Have Valuable Work to Do”, followed by the employee appreciation program highlighting each nominee’s accomplishments.

This year’s Employee of the Year Award nominees were:
Cobo Vang – Anytime Fitness
Sylvia Kuehn – Best Western Plus Isanti
Michelle (Mick) Hartnett – Cambridge Medical Center, Allina Health
Megan Roiger – City Center Market
Bill Stickels III – Isanti-Chisago County STAR
Shelly Miller – Minnco Credit Union
Amanda Norling – SAC’s / Isanti County Commission on Aging

Held as part of the Chamber’s monthly luncheon series, the event also served as a broader celebration of the region’s workforce. The Chamber emphasized the importance of recognizing employees who contribute to the strength and vitality of local businesses.
